52nd Reunion

MARTINSVILLE CLASS OF 1962 HAS REUNION

Twenty-eight classmates and twelve guests attended the 52nd reunion of  MHS
Class of  l962 at the lake-side shelter house of Bob and Catherine Etter on
Sat., Sept. 6, 2014.  A picnic lunch, catered by Renda Trimble, was enjoyed
by all.

Weather was gloomy and wet, but that didn’t dampen spirits of those
attending.  Red and blue decorations brightened the shelter house to honor
Artesian tradition.  Connie, of Connie Etter Photography (and Bob Etter’s
daughter-in-law) wandered the crowd during festivities snapping impromptu
photos of  attendees which will be bound in a book of memories.  At 1:30 she
herded the mass into a cohesive unit in front of the huge fireplace so that
a group photo could be taken for the archives.  (photo included)

The next class reunion will be in the Fall of 2014.  For information on any

connected monthly with an update and those members would love to have
contact with all 199 graduates and anyone who walked the hallowed halls of
MHS with this group at any time but left before graduation.
